Your Purpose
We’re now looking to recruit a Senior Marketing Analytics Manager to join our brilliant Marketing Team.
The Senior Marketing Anlaytics Manager takes ownership for high quality, data driven, performance insights to drive portfolio and brand strategy, optimise return on marketing investment and ultimately drive revenue growth.
This roles involves working with multiple data sources and agencies to define and manage the appropriate Marketing Analytics strategy and approach to drive evidence led decision making.
The Marketing Analytics Manager is also responsible for key inputs into Integrated Business Planning (IBP) from a Marketing performance perspective. IBP, and specifically the Product Review cycle, is dependent on a steady flow of issues and opportunities being identified, root causes diagnosed, scenarios modelled, options suggested and recommendations made. It is also reliant on decisions being underpinned by factual analysis.
We have a wealth of data from multiple internal and external sources – this role is designed to bring the technical skill of analytics to apply to that data and support the IBP cycle as described above.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and continuously improve the regular reporting suite for Brand Review, Segment Review and Portfolio Review purposes in the form of visual scorecards and dashboards.
- This is to be a combination of key Brand parameters and the underlying drivers of performance, as well as bespoke requests.
- Work to define, design and implement MCBC’s approach to Marketing Mix Modelling that enables conclusions around effectiveness to be drawn to define the optimum portfolio and brand investment to realise the Portfolio long range growth plan.
- Work on key projects where Marketing and Data Analytics can play a key role in informing and defining the strategy and tactics such as Premium Brand Strategy.
- Design and implement a Marketing Evaluation Approach which involves collaboration with brand teams and cross functionally to set KPIs, analyse, measure, evaluate, learn and optimise ROI for future marketing campaigns and activations. This will include pre-launch, short term and long term analysis.
- Work with other Division and Regional teams and SMEs to identify and share learnings and best practice to help build our capability both from a Marketing Analytics and Marketing Effectiveness perspective.
About You
- Experience of working with and interpreting brand health and brand performance data in an FMCG category (inputs & outputs).
- Background in Marketing Analytics in a large scale organization would be ideal
- Able to lead and engage senior level stakeholders and win buy-in
