about this team
Retail Operations is the bridge between our stores and our head office. We are responsible for ensuring stores have everything they need to drive results and guest experience. We own store-readiness of all initiatives, flow of work and store communication, NSO operations, labour optimization, store supplies and product operations.
a day in the life: what you’ll do
- Create and lead the retail operations strategy
- Responsible for day-to-day operations for all store formats across 9 countries and all new store openings, including labour planning
- Own all store communication and calendaring; controlling the flow of communication, tasks and roll-outs
- Support and advise all SSC departments to ensure store-readiness for all initiatives and projects
- Supporting rollout of all store technology including RFID and omni programs in stores
- 10+ years of retail experience and operations experience
- 5+ years of people management experience
- Experience managing across multiple countries
- Experience in stake-holder management
- Strong project leadership skills with ability to manage multiple complex project simultaneously and develop project management skills in others to ensure projects are complete on time and on budget and meeting or exceeding expected results
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with an understanding of how to reach and motivate people
- Excellent decision making, negotiation and problem resolution skills
- Extraordinary customer service, organizational and time management skills

In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed at both the SSC office and home office every week.
