Senior Manager - Global Employee Relations

Reporting to the People Director â“ Employee Purpose and Experience, you will be responsible for the development and execution of the global employee relations strategy, maximizing the performance and engagement of our people, to enable the achievement of our business objectives and overall people goals.
You will support our development of â˜voice' across the Company, evaluating and enhancing our communication channels/ methods to champion and engage on our purpose and culture, amplify positive employee relations to enable a culture of respect and high performance.
You will also champion the organization's purpose and culture, drive positive employee relations and enable a culture of respect and high performance through the development of appropriate people policies, processes, practices, governance and systems to align with the overall People and business strategy, and commensurate with local laws and regulations.

What you will be doing:
- Define a comprehensive and sustainable Global Employee Relations strategy that supports our Company purpose, business goals and people strategy.
- Develop, deploy and lead the implementation of Employee Relations emerging capabilities from policy, legislative/ case law changes and employee's life cycle - Identify models of best practice [policy, programs and objectives].
- Provide the direction, architecture, requirements, and governance with respect to the execution of HR initiatives, change programs and process development, including (but not limited to) M&A, growth orientated structural or organizational change.
- Partner with HR leadership and other key internal stakeholders to inform strategies, consider and integrate feedback, and build action plans; collaborate with Legal, Ethics & Compliance, Governance and other stakeholders as needed for guidance to ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and contractual obligations. Accountable for partnerships across service providers, to achieve Employee Relations goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance on defined strategies, policies and programs for Employee Relations across the organization. Serve as the global Employee Relations subject matter expert, developing suitable strategies and proactively monitoring and leveraging industry leading practices and building external relationships.
- Operate as the Global Employee Relations policy approver and owner; oversee global Employee Relations policies and programs rationalisation, escalations and exceptions. Partner with global market and Business Unit HR Leads to ensure coordination of strategies, plans, and tactics that impacts Employee Relations.
- Use data and analytics to make develop and deploy Employee Relations practices, ensuring competitive posture of programs and policies. Understand stakeholder requirements and define the Key Performance Indicators that are critical for quality of tracking and evaluation of Employee Relations. Measure the effectiveness of Employee Relations strategy and programs.
- Operate as advocate for Employee Relations, resolving disputes, issues or escalating to leadership as appropriate.
- Develop and lead an employee relations framework to facilitate productive and forward-thinking dialogue with the Global Employee Relations Network and employee representative bodies. Oversee key negotiations with trade unions, works councils, employee forums on a range of business issues.
- Provide strategic and tactical communications advice on proactive communications and issues management as appropriate (incident support team).

- Expertise required on Employee Relations governance/ compliance - Provision of consulting, management and delivery of dispute resolution on employment law matters.
- The ability to identify and build ER emerging capabilities, governance from legislative/ case law changes and employee's life cycle audit - Identify risk reduction measures and models of best practice [policy, process, contracts]
- Strong analytical skills through the delivery of deep-dive analytics on ER data to provide understanding around the drivers of employee behaviour and forecast of employee profile.
