Meraki Talent are exclusively engaged on the permanent position of Senior Manager – Financial Accounting & Fixed Assets based in the central belt of Scotland paying £80,000 - £90,000 plus bonus & a highly competitive benefits package.

The Opportunity
This newly created position will be part of the European financial leadership team that will be responsible for restructuring, redeveloping and building the financial accounting & fixed assets team to ensure it’s fit for purpose whilst ensuring solid foundations & platforms for future growth.
Whilst technical competence is critical, the ability to business partner is of equal importance. This includes senior finance and non-financial Departmental Heads & Directors such as Corporate Development, FP&A, Systems, Operations, Procurement, Legal etc.

The role components would include:
- Ownership of financial accounting & fixed assets European function
- Leading, developing and building the finance team
- Business partnering with senior finance and non-financial stakeholders to influence strategy, direction and decision making
- Significant involvement in high profile and value global projects including mergers, acquisitions, due diligence, integration, ERP developments, continuous improvement etc.
- Reviewing, developing and enhancing processes, procedures, controls & systems
- Ensuring a robust financial control and governance environment
- Production and presentation of monthly reporting packs – KPI’s, dashboards, trends, fluctuations etc.
- Internal and external audit preparation
Candidate Profile
We are keen to engage with candidates that meet the following criteria:
- Qualified Accountant
- Strong technical competence with both financial accounting & fixed assets
- People management experience with a finance management position
- International accounting experience – European GAAP’s, US GAAP
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to business partner with senior individuals
