Location: Unit L1 & L2, Blackpole Road, Worcester, WR3 8SG
Working Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
Main duties & responsibilities
In this role, you will be an integral part of the Worcester branch, ensuring that deliveries arrive at customer sites in an efficient manner and offering excellent service to our customers.
Key responsibilities include:
Picking and checking orders, ensuring that all customer orders are complete
Serving customers on the trade counter
Assisting with stock control
Receiving goods and deliveries
Planning routes and delivering packages to customers in a timely manner
Unloading packages at the destination and obtaining all necessary delivery paperwork and documentation
Doing regular maintenance checks on delivery vans and informing management of any issues
Knowledge & Skills requirements
The ideal candidate will have following key skills:
Full driving licence – HGV not required
FLT licence is desirable, however not essential
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment would be advantageous
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Good communication and numerical skills
Good work ethic
