Title: Senior Stock Controller
Location: Bo'Ness, Falkirk
Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

Our Bakkavor business in Bo’ness, based near Falkirk, specialises in the production of fresh, high quality salad products working primarily with premium retailers. To give you a sense for the scale of manufacturing in Bo’ness we produce over 70million salad based meals and side dishes from our 2 manufacturing facilities employing over 1200 people in the town.
The Role:
To manage the relevant day to day running of the logistics function (inbound and support other functions on logistics issues including Despatch). To lead and direct the team to ensure that all resources are managed and utilised effectively to achieve the required service levels & performance results through KPI`s.
What will you do?
- Performance management of team and Suppliers to ensure production plans are met
- Continuous Improvement through managing and maintaining Dept KPI’s
- Participate in New Product Development plans and ensure Process trials and launch Dates are achieved
- Provide Strong communication to business around projects and Supply concerns
- Development of Team through new processes and out of box thinking
About you:
Excellent leadership, Team Player , High standard of communication and organisational skills
Previous experience of managing a team
H & S / Ability to Risk assess and complete Safe systems of work to train out to team
PC literate. Numerate - Literate in written and spoken English
“Can Do” approach/ positive attitude
Flexible attitude towards work patterns/hours of work
Able to deal with a variety of potentially difficult situations with immediate response.
You will ideally have experience of a similar role in a food manufacturing environment and be used to working at a fast pace. We seek an individual with an interest in IT and systems to help build efficient and robust processes
