We are currently recruiting for a Hybrid Lab Radiographer at The Harborne Hospital. Part of the world’s largest private healthcare group; providing award winning primary, acute and complex care.

Contract Type: This is a permanent 37.5 hours per week

About the facility:
The Harborne Hospital - part of HCA Healthcare UK is a brand new £100million, purpose built 50 bed, multi-speciality private hospital opening in Birmingham in 2023. Located on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham campus, the hospital will have the deep clinical infrastructure, equipment and facilities and expert, experienced teams to deliver full clinical pathways across a mix of specialties and sub-specialties at all levels of complexity including Cardiology, Cancer and Complex Surgery. The Harborne Hospital is the 4th NHS partnership within this network, partnering with University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust.
Role Overview:
As a Hybrid Lab Radiographer, you will work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the cardiac catheter laboratories and to maintain professional standards of technical competence and high standards of patient care at all times.
Duties & Responsibilities :
To ensure the protection and safety of all staff and patients against the dangers of ionising radiation and to comply with ionising Radiation Regulations, Health and Safety at Work Act, Manual Handling and COSHH Regulations
To promote and act as ambassador for the cardiac / hybrid service
To play an active role in all cardiac procedures and to confidently assist clinical decision making on which the patient’s management may be based
To observe the company’s employment policies and procedure
To provide high quality patient centred care
To maintain patients records accurately, both written and electronically stored, in accordance with HPC guidelines and hospital policy
To assist with stock control and ensure that all examination charges are capture
Skills & Experience:
HCPC registered
Degree within Radiography
Able to use VDU
Cath lab experience
NHS/UK Experience
