The School of Psychology at Liverpool John Moores University seeks to appoint five new Lecturers/Senior Lecturers in Psychology, including two Health Psychologists, a Forensic Psychologist and a Psychologist with expertise in Positive Psychology. These posts provide an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and motivated team at a significant time of growth for the School of Psychology and the Faculty of Health. Three posts represent additional investment in the School to uphold our staff student ratios and support our ambition to become a leader in the sector, building on our delivery of excellent teaching and research.
The School has a thriving research culture and outstanding facilities, with planning currently underway for a new city centre building which will accommodate the whole Faculty on one site. This landmark building will provide state of the art research, teaching and learning facilities. The appointees will have the opportunity to contribute to our successful BPS Accredited undergraduate psychology programmes as well as our postgraduate programmes including Masters programmes in Health Psychology, Brain and Behaviour, Positive Psychology and Wellbeing and a new MSc in Forensic and Investigative Psychology.
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals dedicated to providing an outstanding student experience who can demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to help facilitate our continued development and growth.
We are looking for individuals with demonstrated research experience and expertise in Psychology and specifically two Health Psychologists [HCPC Registered], a Forensic Psychologist, Positive Psychology, Counselling Psychologist and/or Qualitative Research methods.
