DeepOcean has an exciting opportunity for a Senior IT Specialist to join our team on a permanent staff basis, located in our Aberdeen office. As a part of the Global IT Team in DeepOcean, you will be a single point of contact for the Aberdeen office in solving technical problems. You will be responsible for computer hardware, software (location specific) and peripherals management and support.

Duties and responsibilities
- A single point of contact for IT requests in the Aberdeen office.
- Troubleshooting.
- Management of Azure Active Directory, users and licenses.
- Device management with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
- Management of on-prem IT infrastructure and cloud backup solutions.
- Coordination and support of first line and third-party support and SLAs.
- Second line support including suppliers.
- Management of IT assets, including purchasing.
- Providing training to fellow employees about network security and best usage practices.
- Review and update of IT policies and procedures.
- Focus on continuous improvement.
- BSc or MSc Degree within Information Technology area.
- Equivalent of extensive relevant experience may suffice.
- Experience on an IT Service Desk.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and Office applications.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Intune and Windows Auto pilot.
- Working experience with PowerShell.
- Working experience with VMWare.
- Ability to write technical support documentation.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management.
