Compliance and QA Advisor

Role Overview:
Leidos Europe Ltd is seeking a UK-based Compliance and Quality Assurance Advisor who is a motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
You will be a dedicated resource to the Logistics Division working on the Ministry of Defence Logistics, Commodities and Services Transformation (LCST) Programme.
The role will be hybrid, working from home and working out of our Bristol office when required to support meetings, with some UK travel required.
Reporting to the Compliance and Quality Assurance Lead, you will support Quality Assurance and Asset Management activities required on the LCST Programme.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Compliance and Quality Assurance Advisor is responsible for, but not limited to, the following activities:
- Conducts and reports on internal process audits
- Support and conduct Internal programme audits for ISO and LCST standards
- Support the audit surveillance activities conducted on key subcontractors and suppliers
- Collect performance metrics (e.g. KPI’s) on both Quality and Asset Management to support cyclical reporting requirements
- Administration of Public Stores account in relation to Asset Management support
- Reviews the results of metrics analysis to determine whether additional process audits are needed
- Collects inputs for the Deputy Head of Quality for reporting cross programme audit and assurance activities for the LCST Quality Working Group and Internal Compliance Working Group
- Executes activities in accordance with the LCST Quality Management Plan and LCST Asset Management Plan
Skill Required:
- Awareness of Quality assurance and Control activities in a Defence or Logistics environment
- Willingness to achieve ISO 9001, 14001 and/or 45001 Lead Auditor certification
- Good verbal and written skills and ability to multi-task and function in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- UK citizenship
- Willingness to achieve SC clearance
- Willing to travel
Desirable Skills Required:
- Experience working with the following tools: SharePoint, MS Office products
- ISO Internal or Lead Auditor Certification
- Active SC security clearance
- Experience of developing and implementing processes
- Implementing corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)
- Experience of internal, external and supplier auditing
Clearance Requirements:
- Clearance to Start BPSS
- Clearance for Role SC
