Senior Investigations Manager
London
As a Barclays Senior Investigations Manager you will assist the Director of investigations in the management of the wider CSO functions, having direct accountability for a team of investigators. You will develop and operate the investigations methodology in collaboration with business partners across the Bank together with external regulatory, law enforcement and financial services bodies. You will also help the Director in the provision of Investigations services to Barclays and external agencies both domestically and international.

What will you be doing?
• Serving as a member of the CSO Investigations management team and contributing to the development and direction of CSO Investigations as a centre of investigations excellence
- Managing and mentoring Investigations staff, providing guidance and instruction and ensuring the adherence to all approved policies, procedures and processes
- Identifying training needs of team members and ensure effective provision of required training, in conjunction with wider function professional development strategy
- Promoting knowledge of best practice in Investigations management, from both internal and external sources (from regulatory, enforcement, and industry perspectives)
- Supervising, directing and conducting complex and serious case investigations to a professional standard
- Ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements, Barclays Enterprise Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Standards
- Demonstrating commercial awareness during investigations to maximise recovery opportunities and make cost reductions where appropriate
- Contributing to and producing management information reports as required for feedback to the wider business and infrastructure
• Profesionalising Investigations Programme (PIP) Level 2 accreditation
- Financial Crime or Fraud certifications, training or accreditation
- Experience of managing investigations in the context of law enforcement, regulatory, audit, risk or accounting within the financial services industry
- Experience of banking investigations in relation to whistleblowing, employee relations, fraud and/or financial crime
• Experience of delivering training or mentoring colleagues
- Recognised network and/or computer investigation qualifications
- Experience of risk control, detection, prevention and mitigation with knowledge of financial products and industry trends affecting supported business units
- Experience of giving evidence in criminal and/or civil, tribunal or disciplinary proceedings
