We house a large team of multi-faceted communications planners, digital and innovation specialists and client leadership teams. Our global client portfolio comprises a range of category leaders including Reckitt, TikTok, Edrington, Coty, Electrolux and Nestlé.

We have a very exciting opportunity in a fast-growing team working on world leading fragrance, beauty, and skin care brands, with very ambitious goals. They are a true global leader in their field, and they have very big plans for growth. They are one of Publicis’ top global clients with over 40 markets as part of our network to date.

You would be working in an agency that is also growing fast. We know the challenges are getting harder and clients need to react faster, so you will play a pivotal role in making these bolder moves for our client. You will have the opportunity to take them down different, braver, more profitable paths and lead the way on some of the most globally recognised beauty and skin care brands.

They have an iconic portfolio of more than 70 brands organised by three divisions:

  • Luxury (e.g. Kylie, Gucci, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Chloé, Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu)
  • Consumer Beauty, including cosmetics, hair, skin and body care (e.g. Max Factor, Rimmel, Cover Girl, Sally Hansen, Adidas)

Coty’s Global Corporate team, serviced directly by the Zenith HQ team you will be joining, are based in London and responsible for the overall management of Coty’s agency relationships, media partnerships, strategic direction, process, best practice, and operations.


Job Description


As Senior Insights Manager, you will be supporting the Global Zenith team in the development of the insight driven general media strategy, as we as assisting planning across the client’s media activity.

You will work with the team to continuously improve the collection and analysis of data and insights, to create an inspiring contribution to the overall media and communication guidance process.

In addition, you will help to shape the proactive agenda, through competitor analysis and client data.

Your insights will contribute to Global Brand Strategy, the Global Media and Communications Guidelines. Working very closely with local Zenith teams across our core markets to bring these insights to life.

As part of the role, you will work with all the members of the team to evaluate the behaviours & performance of the client brands, and competitors using a wide range of tools. The candidate will be required to collate, analyse, and develop learnings and insights from a wide range of data sources.

You will be asked to deal with a wide range of topics that cover media, brand, digital and creative.

For this role you will be required to have solid media knowledge and understanding role of media channels including Video (TV + Online), Digital (Search, Social, Programmatic), Outdoor, Print and eCommerce.

You will have an interaction with wide range of Zenith and Publicis Media specialists including but not limiting to Digital, Data and Influencer Marketing specialists. This allows for personal growth and development too; you’ll get to work with some of the best people in the agency world.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the single source and central point for everything insights related.
  • Extracting category/audience insight from syndicated tools such as TGI, GWI, and other tools; recommending additional tools
  • Developing a good working knowledge of proprietary research tools, inspiring strategists to use insight methods, tools and systems throughout strategy development.
  • Working on responses to briefs, but also looking for trends and insights from within the industry and category, also looking at wider industries for inspiration.
  • Producing high quality, innovative responses to internal and external briefs (often from a variety of data sources), ensuring key insights are drawn out.
  • Confidence in supporting end-to-end quantitative/qualitative research projects; i.e. designing multi-market proposals, developing engaging questionnaires and discussion guides, managing fieldwork, analysing data and presenting actionable insight
  • Utilising search, social, and digital data to build a more contextual understanding of categories/audiences
  • Support quarterly business reviews
  • Ongoing review of existing processes and trackers to ensure alignment with market and client needs.


Qualifications


Key Requirements:

  • Experience in a research/insight/strategy role in a creative/media agency or media owner environment with a broad understanding of the marketing ecosystem
  • Knowledge and experience of both quantitative and qualitative methodologies
  • Familiarity with industry tools and currencies e.g. TGI, IPA Touchpoints, YouGov Brand Index, etc.
  • Experience of using other insight techniques and tools e.g. social listening, search analysis, Google suite etc.
  • A genuine curiosity and passion to understand consumer motivations and behaviours
  • An ability to create a story from several different data sources

What will contribute towards your success in the role?

  • Previous global experience is essential.
  • Knowledge of US, UK and Germany markets is a big plus.
  • Media agency background in insights, strategy and digital.
  • Passion for all things media including innovation, digital and social.
  • Proactive self-starter mindset.
  • A curious mind. Asking questions and investigating come naturally to you.
  • Thrive on a mix of analytical and creative workstreams.
  • Confident with understanding and working with data.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and part of a team.
  • French is an advantage but not essential.
