Senior HR Business Partner
We are recruiting a Senior HR Business Partner. As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will deliver pragmatic and commercially focused HR solutions, which improve organisation effectiveness and enable teams to achieve business objectives. Actively influence a high performance culture that is able to attract, retain, motivate and develop high quality, engaged people. The Senior HR Business Partner will be a visible presence in the homes and carry lead responsibility for a small portfolio of homes. As one of the largest healthcare providers in the UK it’s important to us to couple great care with meaningful and enjoyable experiences.
This role will cover North East, Carlisle & Scotland
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will be:
- Responsible for all aspects of people management across a portfolio of homes and central support colleagues in a defined geographic region
- Ensuring company-wide HR programs are effectively delivered, embedded and sustained.
- Influence and drive business thinking on people issues that support operational objectives, organisational design and resource plans
- Supporting a culture of continuous improvement where there are high performing and motivated regional teams, with agreed performance objectives and development plans
- Supporting the People Director and Head of HR in the development of People Strategy
- Responsible for line management of a HR Business Partner and a HR Advisor.
- Providing expert advice on highly complex HR matters, effectively managing and reducing risk
- Delivering HR training and coaching to operational colleagues, including but not limited to investigations, disciplinaries, absence management and performance management, to equip them with the skills and knowledge in resolving people issues
- Through succession planning sessions, talent reviews and retention initiatives, support the business in identifying, engaging and retaining top talent.
To succeed you will be:
- MCIPD Qualified or working towards
- Experienced at HR Business Partner level
- Capable of managing a team and developing efficient processes
- Competent at building and maintaining effective relationships with operational and business colleagues
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- A strong team player
- Demonstrates a flexible approach.
