We have a new and exciting position for an Operational Partnerships Manager to help support our Strategy to 2030and Animal Journey through the development of effective and strategic partnerships.

This is an opportunity to make an impact in a newly created role by searching for external organisations to collaboratively solve the problems of our sector, as well as meeting business objectives through strategic partnerships. You will be networking with a large and varied audience, including other charities, voluntary bodies, external agencies and RSPCA business owners, as well as maintaining these relationships.

As a subject matter expert, you will also be undertaking audits of our partnerships to ensure good governance, as well as ensuring our work with our partners is legally compliant and in line with policy and process.

What we are looking for in you...

  • A demonstrable understanding and track-record of internal and external partnership management and development in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Extensive experience of building and managing constructive working relationships with national coverage.
  • General knowledge of legislation that impacts on operational partnerships.
  • Drive and ambition to develop new approaches and strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with tangible results.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Able to balance different viewpoints with tact and diplomacy.
  • Detail oriented and able to record data accurately.
  • Willing to commit to occasional national travel.
