Please note this is a part time 15hr post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata. Saturday and Sunday working only
If successful in your application, you will work under the supervision, guidance and support of an Occupational Therapist and assist with the delivery and implementation of occupational therapy treatment programmes. You will be expected to supervise and instruct patients in designated clinical interventions.
Candidates must have a full driving licence and access to a car.
Duties may vary depending on the care group / department or assigned area of work.
Applying candidates should have an SVQ III in healthcare, or working towards, or equivalent experience working within a caring environment/role. An ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary/agency team as well as an ability to carry out assigned patient care tasks effectively within a busy environment and to work unsupervised. Candidates should have effective written and verbal communication skills and a working knowledge of basic information technology. You will be expected to actively participate in the Personal Development Plan process to fulfil the requirements of continuing professional development.
