Essential criteria
- Clinical Assisstant Practitioner foundation degree
- NVQ Level 2/3 certificate or equivalent
Experience
Essential criteria
- 3 years’ experience as an HCA involved in direct patient care
- Experience of dealing with the public in person and on the phone
- Experience in carrying out assigned duties/assisting qualified staff after training
- Working in a multi-disciplinary team
- Good standard of written and spoken english
Communication

- Ability to deal with the public in person and on the phone
- Able to support and reassure patients/carers in distress

- Demonstrate understanding of own role within the team
