GRIDSERVE is making electric vehicle charging as convenient as petrol refueling, with a national network of ultra-fast, dependable Electric Forecourts® and Electric Hubs on the GRIDSERVE Electric Highway.
GRIDSERVE Car Leasing is providing affordable leasing options for EVs, so that now drivers have reliable EV charging, they can confidently make the switch to electric with competitive monthly rates - plus 100 trees planted for every car leased. These are just some of the ways we are looking to provide sustainable solutions.
Due to expansion of the business, we require a hospitable, hard-working, and confident self-starter to provide support to the GRIDSERVE Swindon office. The role is based at Swindon and involves a wide range of duties to include the following:
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintaining and improving the general day to day running’s of Swindon office and supporting other offices
· Co-ordinating with the IT department regarding equipment, office requirements and coordinating any general hardware and software related needs
· Booking meeting rooms, monitoring and answering inbound calls, greeting guests, sorting and distribution of post and assisting with deliveries
· PAT testing for electrical items for both inside/outside the office
· Replenishing food/snack stores in the kitchen
· Health & Safety coordinator, including First Aid, Fire Marshall, internal building checks and co-ordinating with suppliers
· Management of facilities, liaising with contractors (gardeners, cleaners, builders etc.) equipment, and ordering of stationary etc.
· Assist with office refurbishment, sourcing and liaising with suitable contractors
· Arranging and monitoring subscriptions
· Organising travel nationally with some international travel to inc. hotel & taxi bookings
· Assisting staff with corporate events
· Assisting with seasonal gifting (hampers etc.)
· Assist with admin duties as required by the office and arrangement of catering for meetings as required
· Annual checks of heating systems
· Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes including anti-bribery policy and Environmental and Quality Management System (compliant with ISO 9001 and 14001)

Skills/ Experience Required:
· Minimum 2 years’ experience within an Office Management role
· Previous experience of Health & Safety coordination highly desirable
· Experience of managing reception duties
· Strong attention to detail
· UK Driving license or equivalent
· Self-starter with the ability to work independently
· Team player and innovative
· Excellent client facing skills
· Effective communication both verbally and in written form
· Must be a proficient user of Microsoft suite including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
· Friendly, approachable manner
