Location: Based in Suffolk/Bristol/Gloucester or London office. Hybrid working available.

Employment Type: Permanent.


Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE.

The Opportunity

Come and join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. The project is now seeking private investment with a view to start construction in 2024. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.


As an Organisational learning Lead, you’ll be the focal point for organisational learning within the Sizewell C project organisation. The position is the champion for organisational learning who will manage the Insight database and positively drive a learning and improvement culture across the organisation, defining and meeting the requirements for Site Licence compliance

Our teams are set up to work flexibly, with a hybrid working approach between our offices and your home. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.


The Role


We are looking for someone to champion organisational learning and improvement across the project organisation and supply chain, promoting the required organisational culture.


You’ll work closely with all areas of the project to facilitate improvements to the organisational learning process, liaising with company-wide representatives to develop best practice approaches and maintain compliance with legislation, policies and procedures.


You’ll also review and develop project processes for learning, improvement and non-conformance in line with international standards, company requirements and best practice.


The role will allow you to undertake regular review of the learning and improvement data, providing reports, analysis and recommendations.


The Skills


You’re likely to have previous experience in organisational learning and continual improvement processes with excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to engage with people at all levels as well as being competent in using IT applications and databases.


It would be great if you have experience of working in a high hazard industry.


You’ll bring your experience in positively promoting organisational learning and improvement across a large, complex major project organisation over multiple locations and embracing remote working


You will be able demonstrate previous experience with analysis of data, preparing reports and making recommendations


Knowledge of communicating with regulatory agencies is desirable.
