This position is for a senior role within the Legal Entity Control team. The team has responsibility for the financial management of the firms legal entities. The candidate will be performing a Legal Entity Officer (LEO) role, accountable for a portfolio of the entities within the investment management business and charitable foundations. They will be a key business partner for various stakeholders on a wide range of legal entity initiatives.

What will you be doing?
- Legal entity officer (LEO) for a portfolio of entities
- Stakeholder management – You will be responsible for managing key stakeholder relationships often at a senior level both internally and externally. Internal clients include Product Control, Treasury, Business Units, Company Secretarial and Tax. External clients include External Auditors and Service Providers.
- Business partnering – You will work closely with stakeholders including the Business Units and Tax on project initiatives.
- Financial presentations – You will have responsibility for the review and presentation of timely, relevant and value add information to senior management.
- Financial reporting – You will have oversight of and accountability for financial reporting, including financial statements, management accounts and variance analysis which is produced by the shared service team based outside the UK.
- Risk management – You will review and challenge the results of the entity. Including considering the appropriateness of taxation, transfer pricing and other policies at an entity level. You must therefore be able to demonstrate an excellent awareness of risk, and an ability to ensure the Firm is always protected. Timely escalation of issues is expected.
- Leadership – You will be part of the Legal Entity Control management team empowered to drive change and the development of the function and department wide initiatives. You will also have responsibility for a local team. #LI-RG1 #LI-hybrid
QUALIFICATIONS
What we’re looking for:
- Strong accounting knowledge
- A professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience of financial reporting at a senior level
- Experience of managing a team
- Experience of presenting financial results
