Job Summary:
Active Data Installation Ltd (ADI) based in Newport Pagnell (Milton Keynes) Buckinghamshire are a cabling company specialising in the installation of copper and fibre network cabling.
Due to continued growth we are now looking to employ a full time Senior Data Cabling Engineer on a permanent basis.
Must be based in Milton Keynes or the local surrounding area.
Qualifications and Skills
Ideal candidate will carry a valid CSCS/ECS card.
The ideal candidate will have a clean full UK driving license and transport.
Experience in the following is essential:
- Cat5e - Cat6a Installation & Termination.
- Installation of Trunking and various other containment.
- Cabinet changes & tidies
- Fibre Optic Installation
- Voice Cabling & Troubleshooting
- Wifi Access Point Installation Experience
- Ability to read drawings
Responsibilities and Duties
We are looking for someone with full experience in dealing with customers face to face and on the phone. Ideal engineer will be polite, well-spoken and is able to communicate well with the customers and the office.
ADI’s work generally requires a significant amount of travel and very varied start / finish times and occasionally staying away will be required. There are plenty of optional overtime opportunities available including weekends.
This role is perfect for an experienced engineer looking to join and be apart of a fast growing company who is involved in all new means of network installations.
Our work is primarily schools, hospitals, retail, office changes and adds, refurbishments and the occasional building site works.
