Job Description

About Our Team:
AECOM is looking for a junior or mid-career document controller to join our team in London. Our design team in London is a dynamic multi-disciplinary collaborative unit working on sports, healthcare, workplace, interiors, masterplanning, landscape and export work for major international clients. We work closely with our engineers and specialists in-house. Export work for Middle East clients is a major part of the London office revenue and provides large scale complex schemes which will be of interest for candidates who thrive in a challenging and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
+ Performs various document control responsibilities for a specific technical group or department working with other document controllers in AECOM worldwide.
+ Has full responsibility for quality control, organizing, transferring, and training on document control procedures.
+ Plans and develops document control procedures. This involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope and investigation and development of novel digital concepts and approaches to document control.
+ Shares document control expertise and experience with others in the company via internal technical communication and presentations (on-line and face to face).
+ Resolves issues or problems concerning conflicting requirements and/or difficult coordination.
+ Responsible for securely transferring documents between AECOM, clients and other authorised third parties.
Technical excellence:
+ Follows and understands quality execution plans in the delivery of information.
+ Identifies and develops new processes that lead to improved efficiency or work quality.
+ Performs document quality checks in accordance with AECOM’s quality policies and procedures.
+ Exchanges large amounts of project data with multiple consultants and clients through B360 Cloud, ACC, Design Collaboration, AutoDesk Docs, ProjectWise, Sharepoint, Aconex, Infraworks, Civil 3D or other platforms.
+ Developing periodic training sessions for the design team as required.
+ Updating internal protocols within the organisation and conducting external audits as necessary.
+ Preparing quality execution plans, TIDP/MIDP deliverables registers to ensure smooth QA/QC compliance for major project deliverables.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Degree or certificate qualification, although not absolutely necessary with the right demonstrated experience.
+ AutoDESK Institute or Bentley recognised certifications in various aspects of cloud data management is preferred.
Additional Information
Minimum Requirements
+ Proven experience in document control.
+ Experience with using common data environments (CDE) particularly Sharepoint, Aconex and ProjectWise, is essential.
