Our Insights Division is in the business of human understanding. We work with the biggest brands in the world, ranging from Adidas to TikTok and HSBC to Unilever, helping them understand their customers and take the right decisions in relation to opportunities and challenges across Brand, Creative, Media, Innovation, Customer Experience, Consulting and Analytics. We have over eight hundred colleagues across the UK and Ireland, based either in our offices or remotely; part of a global company working across over one hundred different countries.
ROLE
Our Senior Client Leads immerse themselves in their client’s worlds to really understand their brands, communications and business strategy in order to help them grow. We are lucky enough to work with the majority of the world’s biggest advertisers, covering categories such as personal care, household goods, food and drink, alcoholic drinks, finance, retail, technology, travel and many more.
You will get to develop collaborative, strategic partnerships with your clients. The research is broad across multiple data sources; a blend combining brand tracking (mostly automated and app based), brand positioning, brand guidelines, analytics (there is a very strong analytics/data science team here), client data, segmentation etc.

Know Your Specialism

Develops personal domain expertise, beyond the Kantar offer, to enable the provision of 1st class advice to our clients. Uses knowledge of philosophies to land advice given to the client, putting the advice in context and providing clear recommendations with ROI

Expresses clear, concise, and commercial points of view on the strategic marketing implications from a wealth of data

Pursues methodology agnostic blending of expertise, to address the client’s business questions.

Owns synthesis and delivers blended domain-based advice, enabling clients to make business decisions, Takes the lead on the final business-related story
Client Leadership

Owns and leads the most senior and sophisticated client relationships within domain with a minimum value of 1.65million, domain based client relationship on Tier 1 clients, overall client relationships on a portfolio of Tier 2 clients

Leads the UK&I strategic account plan – owning for Tier 2 clients and driving the domain-based strategy on Tier 1 clients

Establishes deep domain-based client relationships, leveraging methodology agnostic expertise.

Impactful delivery into the client’s business, partners client’s in addressing their marketing/business issues & transformation needs

Networks beyond Insights to Marketing and establishes positive working relationships with client agency partners. Is offer agnostic

Proactively seeks out client feedback and implements strategies that will drive improved client relationships
Commercial Leadership

Drives commercial opportunity within the domain and manages an active pipeline, with a focus on scale, cross sell within Domain and Repeat.

Collaborates with Client Partner in realising Cross Domain client opportunities.

Facilitates Tier 2 domain cross selling opportunities within the network

Leads on proposal development, in situations where response to the brief sits within domain

Sponsors Tier 3 accounts on renewals and new opportunities and shares responsibility for team commercial goals

Partnering with Project Management leads to achieve client profitability target /profit optimization goals

Actively contributing to driving strategic goals within the Domain
People Leadership

Builds & mentors high performing Domain teams, with roles and responsibilities that set people up for success, with specific emphasis on Director cohort

Leads and motivates the offer teams to optimise client delivery. Ensures that casting provides the best opportunities for successful client partnerships.

Working in partnership with team leads to support overall people leadership strategy

Sets the cultural tone and behavioural agenda, and embeds the right values within the domain
KEY CAPABILITIES

Highly strategic and consultative individual with a passion for brands and brand development

Experience working with global clients within fast-moving sector/s

Experience managing and inspiring teams in a previous role/s or ready to take the step up

Passionate about growing and developing your team, by being an inspiring leader and managing junior members

Quantitative research background and experience handling research projects

Experience having worked in either research agency, client side or agency planning environments
