Zoom is our fast-growing rapid delivery service, delivering convenience without compromise to customers in London and Leeds. With over 10,000 products to choose from, Zoom gives customers more choices than other rapid delivery services, all delivered in less than 60 minutes.
Although we work very closely with our colleagues in Ocado.com, Zoom is its own business, with a separate website and app, and a small dedicated team that looks after ranging, pricing and promotions, the content of the website and app, and marketing. The Role
This role, reporting into the Paid Media Manager, will help shape, plan and implement across all digital marketing channels for Zoom by Ocado. This diverse role is a fantastic opportunity for a creative thinker who also loves all things digital and driving results in a rapidly growing business. Whilst there will be a particular focus on delivering on acquisition targets through our key channels: Paid Search & Paid Social, there will also be the opportunity to explore, recommend and implement strategies across channels such as Affiliates, Partnerships, SEO Retargeting, Influencers and more! Activity will be hyper-local, targeting specific small geographic areas. Having the opportunity to work across such a broad range of channels and influence strategy in such a fast growing business makes this a truly unique role.

Strategy & Planning:
- Exploring new paid media and digital acquisition strategies alongside the Paid Media Manager, managing/ sourcing and appointing agencies where necessary
- Exploring audiences and creative routes on paid social, working with the brand and campaigns team to integrate approaches
- Optimising our paid search account, defining the roadmap, looking for new opportunities to expand the account, drive efficiencies
- Ensure the strategy and plans are optimised for hyper local geographic areas
- Look for new opportunities and external solutions that can help to enhance Zoom’s activity on the channels you are responsible for
Trade:
- Ensure activity is aligned to the weekly trade plan where applicable
- Contribute to hitting our weekly acquisition targets
- Ensuring that weekly budgets are monitored and that spend is optimised across channels
Campaign Execution and Analysis:
- Hands on channel execution, with support from agencies where necessary
- Deep dive on weekly reporting figures, highlighting key wins, learnings and areas of concern
- Working with relevant teams to optimise conversion rates across channels
- Develop an understanding and strategy for each channel in order to hit site acquisition targets
Budget Management:
- Optimise spend to improve efficiencies across all channels
- Review channel performance on a regular basis with the Paid Media Manager, to help inform decisions on moving budget between channels and campaigns
Key Skills
- A can do attitude, willing to get stuck in to lots of projects to drive change and learn new skillsets in a hands-on environment
- An understanding on the principles of per per click advertising would be beneficial
- An interest in expanding knowledge in the world of digital
- Proven track record of driving & improving performance marketing KPIs
- Excellent IT skills with experience using Microsoft Office
- Demonstrable experience dealing with stakeholders at various levels
- Experience in an ecommerce or retail environment
