
Senior Designer Edinburgh, Scotland
Job description
You’ll have a keen eye for detail, bring new ideas and ways of working, lead by example and support the growth of junior colleagues. You’ll be focused, agile and have the ability to shape creative concepts to meet client needs and take them to the next level.
Reporting to the Creative Director you’ll:
- Lead studio output working to service our clients across our Edinburgh and London offices
- Actively collaborate with agency colleagues to scope requirements and produce assets across client products and projects including branding, digital and PR campaigns, infographics, illustrations, motion graphics, video editing / production, document design and social media content
- Proactively inspire and mentor junior members of the team to progress and deliver stand out creative work
- Be a Stripe brand champion, helping enhance and promote our brand internally and externally
- Have the ability to present work clearly and logically to clients, finalising designs based on feedback
- Proactively own and drive projects with focus, pace and a positive attitude to find solutions
- Have an active interest in new design trends, learning new skills and sharing ideas
- Seek out new opportunities to expand and develop the Stripe Studio offering
- A degree-level qualification in Graphic Design, Digital Design or similar.
- 5+ years minimum professional experience in digital / social content / product / brand design.
- A portfolio that demonstrates creative flair and polish, excellent use of typography, colour, animation, imagery, and graphic elements, as well as experience in designing for mobile and web.
- Expert user of Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Lightroom and Premiere Pro
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and excellent time management skills, including the ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Be able to work from our Edinburgh office 2 days a week.
- Legally able to work in the UK
