This company have recently been acquired by a multi-billion-pound parent organization and have investment to increase the size of their technical departments. Will access to a much larger client list now as well, they're in a great position to improve their market share and the product in general.
In this role you will join a Software Development Department. You will use a combination of Manual or Automation testing to ensure new Software is fit for purpose. You will be testing Web applications and mobile applications.
The ideal candidate will be an experience Software Tester with Automation (Selenium) testing experience.

What you will do:
Software testing is integral for organisations to ensure that their IT delivery is of a high standard. As such it is one of the most in demand roles in tech today.
- You will review and analyse requirements, create test plans and execute test cases to ensure the needs of the end-users are met.
- You will detect and analyse system defects and collaborate to resolve these issues.
- You will create and maintain test documentation, ensuring efficient tracking of product quality.
- You will work with business analysts and developers to provide feedback, troubleshoot, fix defects and participate in code reviews.
- You will continuously increase your technical capability in the environments you work in, becoming a subject matter exert that the organisation relies on for business-critical decisions.
- You will stay up to date with trends and changes in the tech market, continuously learning new testing techniques and approaches.
- Testing Web Applications and Mobile Apps
- Testing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL
- Using Selenium, NUnit / xUnit, TeamCity, and SQL Servers
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and methodologies
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Educational Qualification
- It doesn’t matter where you went to college or what your CGPA was as long as you are smart, passionate, ready to work hard and have fun.
