Job Title: Campus Security OfficerPay Rate: £14.00 per hourHours: 42 per weekYou will be required to work a 4 on 4 off roster pattern, working days and nights, 06:00 to 18:00 or 18:00 to 06:00.You will receive the below:- Access to Earned Wages Scheme- Enhanced Bank Holiday Pay- Paid Holiday- Free Uniform- Paid Training- Pension Scheme- Company Sick PayDuties:- Monitor and authorise entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other individuals to maintain security and prevent unauthorised access- Patrol premises regularly by foot and vehicle to establish a visible presence- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances- Write reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner- Monitor CCTV cameras and operate security equipment as needed- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environmentQualifications:- Proven work experience as a security officer or relevant position preferred- Knowledge of security operations and procedures- Ability to operate surveillance equipment and emergency response systems- Strong observation skills with attention to detail- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively- First aid certification is a plusJoin our team of dedicated security professionals!
