Senior Data Analyst
Home Based - UK
£50,000 - £55,000 per annum
If you are a Senior Data Analyst who has expertise in Power BI, SQL, and Excel. You will be instrumental in generating insights and providing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and ensure effective resource utilisation
THE JOB
As a Senior Data Anyalyst, you will use all available tools and your knowledge in ensuring the business is working to its optimum capacity with resources dedicated accordingly.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS A SENIOR DATA ANALYST
Resource Planning and Allocation:
- Collaborate with conveyancing managers to understand capacity availability and workload demands within the conveyancing market.
- Develop planning models and methodologies tailored to the unique needs of the conveyancing process, ensuring optimal allocation and utilisation of resources.
- Monitor and analyse resource utilisation trends within the conveyancing department, identifying potential bottlenecks and making recommendations for improvements.
- Provide guidance and support to conveyancing teams regarding resource availability and allocation for efficient case handling.
- Developing recommendations as to when and how the various levers will be used based on proven data and analytics
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilise Power BI, SQL, and Excel to extract, analyse, and interpret data specific to the conveyancing market, such as case volumes, turnaround times, and capacity utilisation.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate resource planning insights within the conveyancing department.
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and prepare presentations to support decision-making processes related to resource allocation and workload management.
- Monitoring the success of their application against the strategy goals and recommending changes to the strategy when required
- Creation and analysis of reports and information requests relating to the Sales and Operations activity and key deliverables
- Predicting the future changes in Sales and business volumes through analysis of internal and external factors
- Recommending when and which levers are pulled based on an understanding of the data and any business changes, issues or risks
Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes, optimise case handling efficiency, and improve overall service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including conveyancing managers, IT professionals, and stakeholders, to implement automated solutions and tools that enhance resource planning and allocation processes
- Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements specific to the conveyancing market, ensuring our resource planning strategies align with evolving industry requirements.
