We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced individual to join as Senior Content Marketing Manager. This role is based within our Asset Management Marketing & Client Experience team. The Asset Management Marketing function is focused on supporting the strategic and revenue growth priorities of the Bank. The function focuses on understanding customers and the identification, development and execution of content marketing strategies that support and strengthen the HSBC Asset Management brand.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing content marketing strategies that promote our asset management products and services. The Senior Content Marketing Manager will work closely with the content owners in the company and other marketing team members to develop and execute campaigns across multiple channels, including email, social media, and web.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement content marketing strategies that promote our Asset Management products and services.
- Create and manage a content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns and business objectives.
- Create marketing content, including blog posts, articles, brochures, video and email campaigns by collaborating closely with internal and external content stakeholders and partners.
- Coordinate with design and video production teams to produce engaging visual content that supports marketing initiatives.
- Analyze and report on the performance of content marketing campaigns, using data to inform future strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content is accurate, meets brand standards, and is compliant with industry regulations.
- Be able to distill and present information in a way that makes sense for the business as well as the agency partners.
- Be comfortable working across a spectrum of stakeholders including Marketing, Analytics, Insights, Products, Propositions, Compliance, Legal, PR and Agencies.
- Be able to work in a collaborative way with the marketing teams in countries / regions, but at the same elevate the conversation of the global business ambitions.
- Be passionate about problem solving in a creative way without losing focus on the business objective.
- The role will require you to challenge in a constructive way to ensure the best outcome for the customer, business and the brand.
- Be comfortable with working in a ‘test and learn’ environment, where perfection is not the ambition, but adding incremental value is the key consideration.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Post Graduate / Degree level of qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- Significant business experience, ideally within a combination of content agency and also an Asset Manager.
- A range of customer and marketing communications planning and operational experience
- Proven experience of working on content management particularly in the digital space.
- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) best practise and experience with keyword search
- Understanding of compliance requirements for financial services marketing
- Proven experience of working with teams over multiple sites.
- Proven understanding of customer insights and ability to analyse data to inform content strategies
- Ability to think innovatively, shaping and communicating new concepts.
- Experience of managing agencies driving for greater value and application of resource.
- Strong understanding of communication developments and emerging consumer, business decision maker and industry trends.
- Ability to influence leadership teams and lead across functional teams to drive improvement.
- Excellent relationship building skills, ability to collaborate and work in cross-functional teams
- Ability to be a self starter with energy and drive in a challenging environment.
This is a Hybrid working role with the base location as London. The successful candidate will have to have the ability to commute to this location.
