Key Responsibilities:
This role is in the Strategy Practice – client type varies, from apparel and retailing to technology and manufacturing. Your tasks as a Senior Consultant within the team will be varied and include:
- Delivering on-site and remote reporting, strategy, materiality and double materiality support, programme management services and other consultations.
- Consulting on ESG reporting frameworks including CSRD and ISSB alignment with mainstream business processes.
- Setting goals and KPIs for clients in line with best-practice standards and aligned to commercial priorities.
- Support in developing, selling and delivering existing and new products and services.
- Developing creative corporate responsibility and sustainability concepts and content. Integration of concepts into mainstream communications.
- Identifying and developing creative, analytical solutions to address unique sustainability challenges
- Engaging with, and presenting to a wide a range of stakeholders
You will be expected to participate in client projects and proposals and to deliver tasks on time and within budget.

Summary of role:
To sustain the growth in activity in our service area from domestic and global clients, we are keen to provide additional support to the team to expand to meet our clients’ needs in this exciting area of sustainability strategy development.
Our Strategy Practice operates predominantly in the private sector, focusing on:
- The interface between brand, purpose and sustainability
- Understanding material risks and opportunities relevant to our clients’ activities
- Defining sustainability targets and ambitions and associated metrics
- Alignment and compliance with key reporting frameworks such as CSRD
- Developing and translating sustainability strategies into creative concepts that can be used across communication channels
- Engaging a diverse range of stakeholders and encouraging them to take bolder actions to have more impact
- Supporting sustainability communications planning and activation, including sustainability reporting
- Working closely with other Anthesis teams on the implementation of sustainability strategies
Key Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in sustainability
- Experience of delivering ESG framework support (CSRD, GRI or ISSB) either in-house or in a consultancy capacity
- Pragmatic and enthusiastic
- Organised, methodical and analytical
- Project management experience
- Ability to respond positively to pressure and take a flexible approach to a fast moving and changing work environment
- Work well with a wide range of people in a global environment
- Proactive with the ability and confidence to use initiative
