Deloitte’s Business Operations – Solution & Service Delivery team works at the forefront of digital innovation and technology change within the Automotive Services Industry. Our clients range from global automotive leaders to challenger companies. We work in partnership with our clients on some of their most strategic technology programmes. These range from core platform modernisation through to building brand new digital propositions and cloud solutions.

As part of our SSD Technology Delivery team, you’ll be working in multi-disciplinary teams to help our clients define, shape and execute some of their most complex Technology projects. We typically work with our clients across the entire delivery lifecycle, from strategy and proposition definition, through to design, engineering, release and refinement. We go beyond typical advisory work to deliver customer and market impacting solutions with our clients. Within our team you will have the opportunity to work alongside and collaborate with industry experts as well as having access to a range of both internal and industry certified learning courses and qualifications.

Solution & Service Delivery

Within our Business Operations offering portfolio, our Solution & Service Delivery operating unit is a fast growing, multi-disciplinary team with experience in project and programme delivery. We pride ourselves on getting things done through harnessing a broad range of methodologies across all phases of the project’s lifecycle. We specialise in four key areas:

• Core Business Transformation: delivering large-scale, complex core technology-led transformations that enable our clients to simplify, future proof, grow and remain competitive and compliant.
• Agile Delivery: helping our clients deliver incremental change consistently and at pace by building a delivery approach that encourages an agile mindset.
• Technology PMO: establishing and running programme management offices for complex technology programmes by providing strong governance and appropriately managing stakeholders, risks, issues, and opportunities.
• Cutover: orchestrating complex system releases, cutovers and deployments ensuring they are operationally ready.

Whether you’re working with on-premise systems, Cloud technology, or custom-developed solutions (to name just a few), your expertise will help clients deliver continuous improvement and innovation, from initial design right through to implementation and optimization.

As a Senior Consultant within the Delivery team, you will have responsibility for:

• Previous experience of managing the end-to-end delivery of projects within Automotive sector
• Delivered projects within PPM environment (Working with project managers and PMOs)
• Good commercial awareness and experience of managing budgets and resource utilisation
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written that inspire confidence in business and stakeholders and the team
• Understanding and experience of project management methodologies (example Prince 2, Agile)
• Excellent organisational skills and be able to respond to changing priorities
• Experience of having effectively managed dependencies, risks & issues in a project / programme

• Experience delivering projects and programmes or as a scrum master part of agile delivery model
• Proficient stakeholder management and communication skills with an ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and a broad range of individuals and teams across various disciplines.
• Understanding of the delivery models e.g. agile or more traditional project delivery
• Attention to detail and organisation skills with the ability to work independently and lead a team to deliver packages of work to short deadlines.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to clarify ambiguous requirements and make sound judgement in situations with incomplete information.
• Recognised delivery certification(s). One of PMP, Prince2 Practitioner, MSP, Certified Agile, Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agile or ITIL.
• Implementing effective change control by ensuring project change/business impacts are assessed and communicated so all stakeholders are aligned

We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints.
