LipSync is looking to recruit senior compositors with experience of leading 2D sequences
From pitching to delivery you will be a key figure in initiating and leading creative output on features and high-end dramas.
You'll be responsible for managing and supervising artists locally and remotely, taking on-board and executing client feedback in a constructive manner, guiding clients and artists alike through the creative process.
- Working with VFX Supervisors to plan, assign and execute shots
- Leading others to Integrate 2D, 3D and live action elements to high-end visual effects film standard
- Ongoing communication with Production regarding schedules and deadlines
- Taking responsibility for your own and others workload, time management and notes/feedback actions
- Perform and supervise all tasks associated with the compositing process and collaborate with artists from other disciplines.
- Maintain the overall look, colour balance, and quality for assigned shots and sequences to create uniformity in all finished work.
This is a full-time position, currently a hybrid of in-office and remote working. Contract terms are flexible for the right candidate.
- Minimum of 2+ years of senior level compositing with proven experience of leading teams of 2D Artists.
- Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong eye for detail, composition, colour and lighting
- A solid understanding of colour space and pipeline workflows.
- Proficient in Nuke. With an advanced understanding of a compositing and timeline software i.e. Flame or NukeStudio / Hiero
Preference will be give to those who have bidding experience in a UK facility and/or to those who have experience of on-set supervision.
