Senior Compliance Advisory Manager (SMF16) - Pensions / Investments London / Reading Introduction: Wipro is looking for a Senior Compliance Advisory Manager (SMF16 role) with previous experience of advising on policies and SOP's covering workplace and personal pensions and retail investments. This is a new role which will be at the heart of the growth agenda for the organisation. The role will have a primary focus on leading the delivery of one of our core strategic deals, whilst also contributing to the wider development of our financial outsourcing services. Responsibilities: As a Senior Compliance Advisory Manager (SMF16) you will: Help set all guidance & policies beyond just regulatory needs Advise on proposed operational SOP pre implementation and suggest amendments and/ or enhanced controls where needed Deliver initial training as transformation commences Ensure aware of all regulatory changes that may affect the business, analyse as to effect and possible changes in operations and ensure disseminated to management as early as possible Where necessary during consultation phase engage with regulators and/ or industry colleagues to ensure practical considerations are taken into account Assist in implementing any changes to SOPs required (and necessary training provided) Likewise engage with regulator when business plans or regulatory permissions change Advise the business on regulatory interpretation as required on a day-to-day basis Ensure all required routine training available/ delivered as transition phase commences and ongoing for onboarding employees or as annual mandatory training Advise on breaches and complaints management Liaise with/ oversee offshore colleagues in same function (presumably just as to their obligation with local regulatory needs Mandatory Skills: Currently holding SMF16 preferred Previous experience of advising on Policies and SOPs Ongoing advisory regulatory interpretation, covering both pensions and retail investments Experienced in workplace pensions and personal pensions Desirable Skills & Knowledge: Expert regulatory knowledge and then how regulation applies across relevant business activities and oversight of such Ability to work without supervision and under pressure Efficient and well organised Strong communication skills both written and verbal Credible and assertive manner Discretion, tact and resilience Professional manner with the ability to influence and persuade Must be a skilled communicator and able to deal with a wide variety of internal stakeholders and financial regulator Application of Individual Conduct Rules: Standard of conduct is reasonable under all circumstances relating to: Must act with integrity Must act with due skill, care and diligence Must be open and cooperative with the FCA and other regulators must pay due regard to the interests of customers and treat them fairly must observe proper standards of market conduct Equal Opportunities: Wipro is an advocate for positive change and conscious inclusion.
