Job description

Main Duties & Responsibilities

1. To provide day-to-day accounts support to the Directors and Managers.

2. To assist with gathering and checking the weekly operatives timesheets.

3. To ensure the general office area is kept clear of excess paperwork/filing/boxes.

4. To take accounts calls and deal with account queries.

5. To respond to accounts email queries.

6. Liaising with members of staff in other departments or external contacts.

7. Assist operational staff with ordering of plant and materials.

8. To uphold confidentiality at all times regarding Cosmos Projects’ clients and business and paperwork associated with the role.

9. A basic awareness of health & safety issues at work.

10. Filing for the accounts office ensuring archive remains in order.

11. Purchase order processing, invoice and order matching / payment processing for suppliers and sub-contractors.

12. Maintain accounting and job costing records on an integrated package.

The working hours are:
Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm
Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm
Location is East Kilbride (no hybrid working)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £17,196.91-£26,268.59 per year
