Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established and pro-active Digital Skills Training Team, delivering clinical systems training to staff within the Birmingham Community Healthcare Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience of delivering clinical systems training to healthcare staff. The method of training delivery will be a mix of Face to Face and also Virtual and will be delivered to groups and also on a 1:1 basis, depending on staff requirements. Excellent communication skills are also required.

There will be an opportunity to work alongside experienced Senior Trainers who will assist in your development.

Main duties of the job are to:

  • Deliver clinical systems training to Trust staff at all levels
  • Deliver refresher courses as required
  • Assess staff IT skills and plan and provide appropriate training solutions
  • Prepare and deliver presentations
  • Provide solutions to system users problems
  • Develop and maintain system userguides
  • Maintaining and updating training materials
  • Communicate effectively internally with team colleagues

Main responsibilities are:
To deliver appropriate Digital Skills Training sessions using clinical systems to users on a 1-1 basis, group basis and an ad-hoc basis

To provide support and assistance to Trust staff on using various clinical systems, following initial training

To work as part of an experienced team of Digital Skills Trainers in order to provide an efficient Digital Skills training service to the Trust to enable competent use of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system.
