Are you an experienced pharmacist who is passionate about mental health and looking for a new challenge?
Cheshire and Wirral Partnership are looking to recruit Specialist Mental Health Pharmacists to work within the Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT’s) in Wirral and Crewe and at the associated locality inpatient units. We are looking for experienced, compassionate, and motivated pharmacists who are dedicated to improving patient care. Professional development is regarded as a priority for members of our team.
This post is part time 30 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
Within CWP, Pharmacists are a respected member of the multidisciplinary team and have the opportunity to provide pharmaceutical clinical leadership and be actively involved in interventions to optimise the use of medicines in patients with a serious mental illness. As a senior member of the pharmacy team, you will also contribute to broader Trust initiatives and priorities. Successful applicants will link in with other care providers, including General Practices, Acute trusts, Community Pharmacies and Care Home settings to ensure that patients receive the correct information regarding their medication by empowering them to be involved in making informed decisions around their pharmaceutical care.
There is no current requirement to work Bank Holidays or weekends, although you will participate in the remote on-call pharmacist rota for the trust.
Working for our organisation
CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care – including the provision of three GP surgeries.
