Job description
Help to ensure that all care, domestic and kitchen sta contribute to the best of
their ability to the e$cient running of the Home and the creation of the right
atmosphere.
Assist residents with their personal care needs.
Answer call bells, emergency bells, the door and the telephone: greet visitors.
Ensure the healthcare needs of the residents are met by liaising with GP’s District
Nurses, Chiropodists etc.
Assist in the care of residents who are unwell or dying.
Promote mental and physical activities for residents through the key worker
system: by talking to them, taking them out and sharing with them in activities
such as reading, writing, hobbies and recreations.
Help with the completion of Plans of Care for residents, new residents and help
with resident reviews.
Help to control the issue of drugs for which the Home has taken responsibility, to
maintain the necessary records and to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the
systems for administering medication.
Help to ensure that the preparation, cooking and serving of food meet the
required standards.
Help to ensure that rooms and common spaces are properly cleaned, maintained
and adequately heated.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 36 per week
Salary: £12.00-£13.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bromley: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- providing care: 3 years (preferred)
- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NVQ Level 3 to 5 Health & Social Care (preferred)
