Surrey & Boarders Partnership NHS Foundation trust are currently seeking a Senior Health Care Support Worker to join their team for the next 12 months. This role is full time working Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm. This role will be specifically based within the eating disorders team.

What you’ll be responsible for
· Physical monitoring of service users including: Weight, Height, Blood pressure, pulse, temperatures, Blood sugars within a physical health clinic
· Introducing regular and emergency ECG monitoring and supporting phlebotomy
· The accurate feedback of observations to the service user and the clinical teams supporting them.
· To act as an advocate and ensure that there is proper regard for peoples’ dignity, choice, self-esteem, racial, cultural, sexual and religious needs and preferences.
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
You’ll have the following qualification/experience:
· A minimum of 6 months experience of working as a Senior Care Support Worker in a UK hospital environment with either a Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care in the last 2 years OR
· 12 months experience of working as a Care Support Worker in a UK hospital environment in the last 3 years.
· Specific mental health or eating disorder experience is essential.
· Undertake regular mandatory training*
*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
