As a Senior Care Assistant in our home The Willows in Ipswich Suffolk , you will be leading a supportive and welcoming team providing physical, emotional, and social support to our residents. · Salary: £11.25 per hour, weekends £11.25 per hour

· Part time and full-time vacancies available

· Monday - Sunday. (You must be able to work alternate weekends)

Shift times: 7pm-7am

About the role:

The role will include ordering and administering medication, liaising regularly with visiting professionals, medical services, and service user’s families. You will be leading a team of care assistants and will be expected to set an example in supporting people with personal care such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals. Completing current and appropriate documentation which includes daily record keeping, charts and care plans.

What we are looking for from you:

Experience as a Care Assistant is essential for this role. Experience as a Senior Care Assistant is preferred, but not essential as full training for the role will be given. The successful applicant will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and will be willing to work towards achieving their Level 3 award.
