The Role:
We are currently seeking a Senior Care Assistant to guide and direct a small team to ensure high standards of care are achieved and maintained, and to oversee the smooth running of a specific floor during each shift.
As a Senior Care Assistant at Marham House, you will have a high level of responsibility which will include managing and administering medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans, mentoring less experienced staff, completing return to work discussions and staff supervisions. This is a busy role where our resident’s needs will be your top priority. You will quickly become part of the care home family and let’s be honest, our team members are what makes our home a great place to live and work!
Hours of work:
Your hours of work will be 08.00 – 20.00. You will be expected to work a 3-on 3-off rota, which equates to an average of 42 hours.
Candidate Requirements:
You will have achieved or be working towards a Diploma/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care to evidence your commitment and passion for care and be excited about the prospect of working as part of a dynamic team, ensuring the home adheres to the necessary requirements and procedures at all times, as the ‘senior’ in charge.
