Where you’ll work: Being part of our team as Senior Care Assistant this role will give you the opportunity to progress your leadership skills to ensure high standards of care are been delivered. You’ll be responsible for caring for people with a wide range of care needs as well as administering prescribed medications whilst being supported by the nominated Care Team Leader on duty. Whilst it’s not imperative that you have a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, you need to be interested in working towards achieving it. You’ll receive training to competently fulfil your role to support our residents to fulfil their retirement years in a simulating and homely environment here at The Laurels care home located in Winsford.

What you’ll be doing:
- Medication management and administration in line with Company policies.
- Completing daily records using care planning system to improve the personalisation and quality of care delivery for our residents.
- Creating and reviewing person centred care plans using the flexible and simple care management system
- Effective team working with external healthcare professionals which leads to better communication and outcomes for our residents
- Respecting resident’s rights of choice, privacy and dignity.
- Supporting residents to remain as active as possible who have limited mobility or physical difficulties.
- Supporting residents with personal care and mealtimes.
- Work as part of a team to promote key, consistent and effective working.
