Job Title
Senior Business Analyst
Overview- Acts as an incubation phase for the creation/ideation of new products
- Roles in this family focus on innovation management; they assess opportunities, define and create new products/prototypes and test differentiated value propositions that meet stakeholder needs (eg, consumer, merchants, banks, governments, issuers)
Role
- Performs assigned tasks in the product development life cycle, monitors project roadmaps for specific development projects and supports budget management
- Identifies and consolidates development needs from product management teams
- Participates in the development of functional specifications and requirements for specific products
- Provides information to technical developers on translating product requirements into technical specifications
- Leverages analysis performed by lower level colleagues to develop presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Evaluates the need for and organizes prototype development
- Monitors the efficiency of development and implementation processes, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts
- Manages relationships with external vendors
- Supports product launches and implementations
- Provides technical expertise and guidance to customers including technical support and product trainings
All About You
- Led the rapid prototyping process for at least one product feature
- Experience executing on product features and enhancements and gaining awareness of underlying platform capabilities and limitations
- Strong track record of contributing to identification of innovative product features by drawing insights from competitor market data
