The Team
The Finance team at AlphaSights is an expanding, global function responsible for planning, accounting, controlling and, ultimately, enabling our fast-paced business. The team is divided into a number of subteams, including Accounts Payable, Billing & Receivables, Commercial Finance, Group Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and Tax, who work closely together to support all of our 9 offices, from Tokyo to San Francisco.
The Role
As our global operations continue to scale, we are looking for a proactive and driven individual to assist with all month-end close related activities for our EMEA entities in the UK, Germany, Portugal and UAE and to liaise closely with the business as well as with specialised functions in the broader AlphaSights Finance team. Based in our London office, you will have a broad range of responsibilities, ranging from:
- Assisting with the the preparation of regional monthly management accounts and for closing and reporting the results into the Group function while ensuring full compliance with applicable statutory requirements
- Production of detailed balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Variance analysis on monthly accounts for the region against budget and prior year
- Commercial business partnering support to senior stakeholders across the business, offering recommendations and insights based on high-quality financial information
- Supporting the Senior Finance Leadership team with the decision-making process and any ad hoc requests
What We Look For

- 3+ years experience in a management accounting role, preferably in a high-growth environment

What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree, with strong academic credentials
- Completion of most or all of your accountancy exams (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
