SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
Salary: £31,432.87 actual per annum (£33,193 per annum FTE)
Hours: 37.5 hrs a week (43 weeks a year)

The Role:
As Senior Administration Officer for The John Roan School, the post holder will be an integral part of the Administration Team, reporting directly to the PA/Office Manager. This role is key to providing a first-class day-to-day service, must be IT literate and competent in using a variety of software packages within a busy environment.
The role is responsible for Cover Administration and Admissions. The responsibility for Cover is to ensure daily cover support is assigned for both planned and unplanned absences in support of teaching and learning. As lead for Admissions, the postholder is responsible for the whole admissions process, providing timely, accurate, and efficient administration. Liaising with all required stakeholders is essential for the role, therefore, expected to demonstrate exemplary customer service.
To provide a strong administrative support service to the school, showing creativity in managing and maintaining school office systems in an effective and consistent manner to the benefit of the school.
About You:
Are you an organised and methodical individual who works effectively under pressure? Do you have excellent Microsoft Office skills with experience of working busy office?
Outstanding interpersonal skills are a must as is an ability to communicate effectively in both the written and verbal form. This role will also be hands on so get ready to deliver first aid to staff and students as well as manage any potential emergencies efficiently and effectively.
