Position:
We are currently seeking an experienced Administration Team Leader with a baxkground within freight forwarding to join the administration team based at our Head Office in Witham, Essex. The team are friendly, supportive and passionate about their work.
The main purpose of this role is to support the Customer Service Supervisor look the after day-to-day operation of the admin department by supporting with any escalations and managing the workload.
Job Role
- Working out charging on files from sales and purchase orders including customer charges and agent charges
- Raising invoices within a specific timescale for any vat/duties and customs clearance charges where no payments terms or very short payment terms
- Providing good customer service to customers regarding any queries and POD’s
- Liaising with agents
- Chasing purchase invoice queries and keep an updated track on their progress
- Purchase invoice passing
- Maintain effective administration
- Dealing with any escalations raised by the team.
- Providing support, motivation and encouragement to the team.
- Support the supervisor running all reports for month end within a strict time frame.
- Converting month end reports into figures and statistics.

Monday - Friday
09:00 - 17:30
Option for Hybrid working
Requirements:
Experience & Skills
- Previous experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor within an administration setting.
- Previous knowledge using Forward Solutions is desired but not essential.
- Background within a freight forwarding setting would be advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft programs such as Word & Excel
- Ability to learn new systems easily and work under pressure
- Follow the companies SOP’s for compliance
- High level of customer service
- Ability to work with others as part of a team
- Highly numerateand attention to detail
- Good organisational skills to manage workload
