Financial Intelligence Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of a Financial Intelligence Officer within the Economic Crime Unit based at Rumney Police Station, Cardiff.
The Economic Crime Unit investigate the most complex, significant and high profile cases of fraud within South Wales, working in partnership with local, national and international forces, counter fraud agencies and public and private sector bodies.
The successful candidate must be prepared to undertake a detailed training programme to gain accreditations. The role involves a combination of team work and dedicated intelligence development relating to complex fraud, serious and organised crime and public protection. Your development will be supported by an experienced colleague and mentoring programme. This is a varied and rewarding role that will allow the successful candidate to develop a wide ranging skill set.
This role is not suitable for part time/job share workers due to nature of the business.
The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC Vetting.
