Starting Salary: £27,344 progressing to £30,151
Hours: 37 per week
Contract: Fixed Term to July 2024

Job Duties:
We are actively recruiting for a Senior Support Officer within the Customer Interaction Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a challenging but rewarding role dealing with highway enquiries. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our busy team.
The work is based around enquiries from the public and elected officials. It is a fast-paced environment with the job holder expecting to be able to manage their own time and different priorities.
Most enquiries are responded to via email so the ability to write to different audiences and to a high standard is an important skill along with attention to detail. We deal with over 2000 cases a month and the team are expected to log, chase, and respond to these when necessary.
You will get an opportunity to make a difference to the highway service and interact with a variety people through investigating and responding to highway enquiries.
We would also like you to take a proactive approach to service improvement which is one of the key elements of this role.
The role covers all aspects of highways and therefore you will have plenty of opportunities to learn and grow within the service.
We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and be able to ensure work is carried out to a high standard within agreed KPIs. With highly developed interpersonal skills you will be confident in working with other teams. You will be competent in Microsoft packages.
