- Takes responsibility and ownership of prospective and existing customers within an assigned territory.
- Developing and delivering value proposition message through a variety of methods (i.e., phone, web, in person etc.) to prospects within an assigned territory.
- Calls on existing and potential clients to identify their current or perspective needs and provide information about products/services including demonstrations and quotations.
- Prospects daily to increase wallet share within existing customer base. This prospecting includes leveraging referrals and working with the Channel and Inside Sales
- Creates and routinely updates a dynamic territory plan, highlighting regional targets, key targets, vertical opportunities, etc.
- Researches and develops sales presentations to effectively relate products/services to potential customers' needs, understands Value sales.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of products/services, sales objectives and strategies, pricing and delivery/installation policies and practices to be able to respond to customer requests for information. Manages overall client relationships, has overall responsibility for the maintenance and development of business from existing clients.
- Responsible for accurate forecast – maintains required sales and call records and prepares reports as required.
- Leverages marketing events/activities as well as attending relevant industry events and trade shows to ensure Entrust brand recognition within the marketplace.
- Is accountable for accurately reporting and documenting all contacts and engaging in proper and timely follow-up with prospective clients.
- Ensures the pre-sales endorsement/presentation of Entrust products.
- Represents the Company at exhibitions, conferences, and speaking engagements to assist in explaining technical and performance information.
- Works closely with other Sales Executives, Sales Manager, Sales Director, and RVP.
- A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in sales, preferably within the Digital Identity, SFW or Cloud Services industry selling complex solutions to senior levels
- New account development experience; an awareness of target markets and product offerings of competitors
- Account relationship management experience as evidenced by opening, growing, and maintaining fortune level accounts.
- A proven and successful history of closing deals and meeting or exceeding targets
- Ability to learn our products/services, sales strategies, pricing, delivery, and installation policies. An understanding of security technology would be a definite asset (authentication, encryption, etc.)
- Persuasive communication, presentation, proposal writing and sales skills.
- Strong teaming skills – ability to work cross functionally within the organization.
- International experience in the mentioned countries and with NA companies
- Significant ‘direct touch’ experience in selling to BFSI, Telco, Government and Enterprise customers in the region.
- Experience positioning and selling enterprise solutions to a C-level audience.
- Practical use of Strategic Selling systems using a predetermined sales methodology
- Experience or exposure to the development of sales strategies for complex accounts
- Ability to develop senior level relationships.
- Has the ability to demonstrate creative thinking.
- Can present effectively to small and large groups.
- Is a highly motivated, results orientated goal achiever.
- Evidence to support working with channel partners.
