Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity? Do you have experience working with SEN Students? If so, we have the perfect role for you!
We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Reception/Year 1 class on a long-term supply basis starting in September. This role will require you to work closely with the class teacher to support the learning and development of students with special educational needs.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Providing one-to-one support to students with special educational needs
- Working with the class teacher to plan and deliver tailored lessons for individual students
- Monitoring and tracking progress of students with special educational needs
- Implementing behaviour management strategies and supporting students with behavioural difficulties
- Liaising with parents and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs
- Experience working with Reception and Year 1 students
- A proven track record of supporting students with special educational needs
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage their own workload
