Customer Service & Admissions Assistant
Bromley up to £23,000k Full Time Office based with some flexibility.
Successful Mums Career Academy is an award-winning specialist training company for mums. The business has supported more than 7,000 parents to find flexible careers through free online training.
Successful Mums is looking for a friendly, empathetic individual with exceptional communication skills, to be the first port of call for all enquiries.
You will be passionate about supporting women back to work; understand the barriers they face; and want to be part of a business that changes lives for the better.
A natural and confident communicator, you will be as comfortable speaking on the phone, as you are face to face, when meeting potential learners.
Reporting to the Marketing Lead, you will create a brilliant first impression for all mums (and dads) that are interested in our courses and be able to discuss topics such as eligibility and suitability.
You will have excellent digital skills and be confident in collating intel and detailed information on leads. Through your learner knowledge, you will help us we prioritise the right marketing tactics to maximise our reach to eligible parents that will benefit from our courses.
Based in our Bromley office, you will enjoy working as part of a team, and collaborate with the Enrolment Lead, and Contracts Supervisor, to monitor enquires and ensure funding paperwork is completed accurately.

Job Summary
Key responsibilities:
· Being the first port of call for all new enquiries - influencing and exciting parents who are considering a course with Successful Mums
· Establishing relationships quickly and effectively with our audience
· Identifying the eligibility and suitability of parents depending on the current funding contracts
· Maintaining an exceptional service such as: answering the phone within three rings; responding to messages and follow-up calls promptly, working alongside a VA company
· Providing analysis of the leads coming into the business via marketing tactics and referral partners
· Supporting the Marketing Lead by sharing data and intel to meet targets
· Liaison with referral partners and stakeholders
· Attending local events as required, during the day and sometimes in the evening
· Support the founder at events and conferences
· Maintaining a good knowledge of all the course areas and subjects
· Being a great team player, who is happy to roll their sleeves up and provide support to the marketing department and wider team as appropriate
· Being results focused with an ability to understand the importance of business KPIs and conversion rates
· Providing regular feedback and quality improvements based on feedback from the parents
· Ensuring safeguarding is at the forefront of the admissions process
· Being inquisitive, using knowledge to help us shape courses and content
Experience and skills required:
· Excellent people skills, with a proven track record in effective engagement and establishing and building relationships
· Exceptional communication skills with the ability to positively influence others
· Experience of dealing with inbound enquiries and sales
· Results-driven and deadline-focused – comfortable working to targets
· Understanding of marketing and how best to engage with our mums and referral partners
· Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
· Solid IT and digital skills
· Strong planning, time management and organisational skills
· An understanding of the barriers faced by returner mums
· A positive outlook and effective team player
· Proactive approach with a growth mindset
· Experience of taking initiative and being solutions-focused in response to changing business needs
· Understanding of CRM systems
· Detail-orientated with the ability to interpret and complete complex documents
Desired experience and skills:
Experience of working with a training provider and knowledge of government funding and Ofsted would be an advantage although not necessary.
Working for a not-for-profit or small training provider and experience of completing compliance paperwork would be an advantage too. Ideally, you will have qualifications relevant to the job description.
