Job description
We are AMS. Our Contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) is one of our service offerings; we act as an extension of our clients’ recruitment team and provide professional interim and temporary resources.
Our client is a globally respected engineering organisation, providing white collar, Blue collar and engineering services to many sectors including energy, aerospace, marine and defence.
Due to exciting growth opportunities, our client is looking to fill a number of Semi -Skilled Operator positions across their Derby facility on initial 12-month contacts. We are seeking enthusiastic and forward-thinking individuals to integrate into our existing teams across a variety of processes; machining, inspecting, chemical processing, blasting or polishing.
We welcome applications from individuals with transferrable skills. Certain roles will require a high level of dexterity and/or frequent physical activity, including lifting.
Our ideal candidate:
- Has process experience within the aerospace industry; advantageous, it is not essential
- Has experience of following technical instructions and records, and basic computer literacy
- Will be flexible to adapt to meet our business needs. The ability to work across a 2 or 3 shift pattern is essential
- Will comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, to take care of themselves and their colleagues
